|**$500 Sign-on Bonus** Under supervision the Apartment Maintenance Technician performs skilled work in the maintenance and upkeep of apartment buildings and building fixtures. The employee will work as a member of a maintenance crew and performs a variety of skilled tasks in several mechanical and building trades including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.|
|Reporting to the Redevelopment and Real Estate Director, the Construction and Rehab Manager assists with planning, implementation and oversight of construction/renovation of multifamily housing. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge and experience to develop project capital budgets and schedules; work with general contractors and third-party consultants, manage communication flow among all stakeholders during construction, and oversee contractor and consultant performance. The incumbent works closely with development partners, including architects, contractors, subcontractors and other consultants, the City of Knoxville, KCDC staff, and others having jurisdiction in resolving project development and construction issues.|
|The Custodian performs general janitorial work to maintain assigned KCDC buildings and grounds. This position is responsible for keeping common areas clean and clear of debris to reduce risk to residents, visitors, and staff.

|Under supervision of the Strategic Partnerships and Policy Director, the Intern will assist with community gardens, outdoor recreation, and educational opportunities for KCDC residents. KCDC properties are located throughout Knoxville and Knox County. This Intern will work at more than one property during the work day. Transportation will not be provided.|

|Under the supervision of a Senior Occupancy Specialist, the Occupancy Specialist performs specialized technical and clerical work supporting various types of Section 8 housing programs. The Occupancy Specialist examines eligibility of KCDC clients and prospective clients for rental assistance, processes monthly housing assistance payments to landlords, and processes utility allowance payments to the utility company.|
|This is a new construction complex that will have approximately 100 units available to rent once the first phase is completed. Under the supervision of the Housing Operations Director, the Property Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a residential community. Responsibilities include oversight of the community's marketing, leasing, legal, financial and administrative functions. The community may have a mix of market rate / workforce units, Low Income Public Housing (LIPH), Low Income Tax Housing Credit (LIHTC) units and/or Project Based Rental Assistance.|

Under general supervision, performs clerical work related to public housing. Responsibilities include general administrative support to property management, interviewing and assisting new clients with completing housing applications, screening applicants, verifying applicant information, determining eligibility, offering housing, preparing lease forms, assembling application and re-certification packets; ensuring the completeness of files, forms, and reports; and typing related correspondence. Responsibilities also include providing assistance on issues related to property management and work orders.|
