Job  Apartment Maintenance Technician
Under supervision the Apartment Maintenance Technician performs skilled work in the maintenance and upkeep of apartment buildings and building fixtures. The employee will work as a member of a maintenance crew and performs a variety of skilled tasks in several mechanical and building trades including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.

Job  Assistant Property Manager
Under supervision of the Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager assists with the management of a residential apartment community. This position is responsible for leasing vacant apartments, completing recertifications, conducting inspections, and sending tenant notices. The community may have a mix of Project Based Rental Assistance, Low Income Tax Credit, Public Housing or Market Rate units. All work must comply with company policies, laws and regulations. Job  Eligibility Intake Specialist
The Eligibility Intake Specialist is responsible for processing applicants for Section 8 housing programs administered by KCDC. The incumbent performs clerical tasks related to maintaining the waiting list and processing program applications including interviews, background checks, applicant verifications, data entry, and other clerical duties.

Job  Leasing and Occupancy Specialist
The Leasing and Occupancy Specialist works as a member of a property management team. This position is responsible for leasing vacant apartments and day-to-day office procedures (leasing, recertifications, inspections, tenant notices). The community may have a mix of market rate / workforce units, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) units and/or Project Based Rental Assistance (Multi-family). The site must comply with all company policies and all relevant laws and regulations.

Job  Transforming Western Plan Manager
The Transforming Western Plan Manager will coordinate implementation of all components of the Transforming Western Plan partially funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under HUD’s FY 2021 Choice Neighborhoods grant. The Manager will coordinate work performed by staff from KCDC, the City of Knoxville, and other lead partners for the housing and people components. The Manager will monitor detailed work plans, budgets, reporting systems and communication protocols to ensure timely completion of plan goals, adherence to budget, compliance with HUD and other regulatory agency requirements, and fulfillment of partner commitments. The Manager will regularly communicate with KCDC housing residents, neighborhood residents and community stakeholders to ensure the community is kept informed of project activities and facilitate ongoing dialogue on Plan goals, objectives and strategies. All activities must support Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation’s (“KCDC” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals, and objectives.
